Atlanta, GA – Tonight, Senator JD Vance won the vice-presidential debate against Governor Tim Walz. In response, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“WOW. Senator Vance won tonight’s debate, full stop. Vance was on offense throughout the night, offering a clear contrast between the successful policies of the Trump administration and the failed, far-left policies of the Biden-Harris administration. Vance was calm, cool, and collected, and clearly enjoyed the opportunity to share his team’s optimistic vision for America’s future.

“Vice President Harris picked a terrible running mate when she selected Governor Walz, and that was indisputable tonight. Walz is an awful governor of Minnesota, pushing far-left policies on the people of his state, and tonight demonstrated that he is clearly out of touch on issue after issue.

“Vance, on the other hand, was an outstanding choice by President Trump, and tonight the American people saw the vision, compassion, and leadership of Trump’s running mate. Tonight’s debate shows why Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund stands strong with Trump-Vance.”
