Atlanta, GA – The full Senate is expected to vote on Pete Hegseth’s nomination for Defense Secretary this week. Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“We at Tea Party Patriots Action urge every Senator to vote for Pete Hegseth for Defense Secretary. The President, as Commander in Chief, deserves trust when it comes to picking his Defense Secretary, and Pete Hegseth is an outstanding choice: he is a decorated combat veteran, a former executive director of two veterans’ organization, and the face of the nationwide movement to dismantle woke indoctrination within the Pentagon. Woke indoctrination is a major reason for America’s military recruitment crisis, giving urgency to fixing that issue. After four years of the disastrous Lloyd Austin at the helm, Pete Hegseth will be a major upgrade, fulfilling President Trump’s national security agenda, protecting our nation from those who wish to do us harm, and doing right by our brave servicemen and women in uniform.”
