Atlanta, GA – Today, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer held a press briefing revealing the Biden family and its business associates created more than 20 companies and received more than $10 million from foreign nationals while Joe Biden served as vice president, apparently in exchange for influence over policy decisions. In response, TPPA Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“The Oversight Committee’s revelations expose an unconscionable level of political corruption and collusion between the Biden family and nationals of foreign countries with close connections to senior foreign government officials. Not only was the Biden family engaging in politically dubious business dealings, but Committee Chairman Comer believes some of these payments could indicate attempts by the Biden family to peddle influence to foreign nationals. Some of these foreign entities include Russia, China, Ukraine, and Romania. These acts were appalling ventures of self-enrichment that may have put the security of the United States at risk.

“The actions of then-VP Biden, and continued cover-up by now President Biden, is a debasement of the office of the president. All those involved must be held accountable for the disgrace they have brought to American people and the United States of America.”
