Atlanta, GA – According to news accounts, former President Trump has been indicted on seven counts in the special counsel’s documents probe. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action (TPPA) Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“Once again, Democrats are weaponizing the government against former President Trump. This is an appalling abuse of power that should outrage every American. First, Democrat DA Alvin Bragg manipulated existing law to prosecute Trump in a case where the statute of limitations had already expired. Now, President Biden’s Justice Department is prosecuting Trump for allegedly mishandling classified information when it’s already a matter of public record that Biden and Hillary Clinton did the same thing, and in the Clinton case, much more egregiously. The FBI whitewashed Clinton’s crimes and the FBI will surely do the same thing for Biden. The Democrats are playing a dangerous game, siccing law enforcement on their political opponents.  This is not the America we know.  It’s a disgrace.”
