Atlanta, GA – Today, at 2:00pm MT/4:00pm ET the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing in Yuma, AZ, to examine the crisis at the southern border. The Committee will also hear testimony about the effects of illegal immigration on the Yuma community. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action (TPPA) Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“The southern border has been in chaos since President Biden took office. The surge is shocking — the monthly average for apprehensions of illegal immigrants crossing our border in 2022 was about FIVE TIMES the monthly average from the last year of the Trump administration.“With these hearings, the House Judiciary Committee is holding the Biden Administration accountable by exposing the humanitarian crisis and fentanyl epidemic that have resulted from Biden’s border policies. We say it’s about time.”
