Atlanta, GA – The U.S. Senate has officially confirmed Linda McMahon as Secretary of Education, marking a major victory for parents, students, and all Americans who believe in school choice, local control, and putting families first. Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“For years, the Department of Education has trampled on parental rights and pushed a radical leftist agenda. With Linda McMahon at the helm, that ends today.

“McMahon built WWE from the ground up, turning a small business into a billion-dollar success—because she knows how to fix broken systems, shake up bureaucracy, and get results. That’s exactly what she’ll do at the Department of Education.

“As head of the Small Business Administration, she fought for parents, small businesses, and American workers—proving she has the backbone to stand up to Washington’s elite and put families first.

“Now, she will fight to restore parental control in education, expand school choice, and put students before politics. Every American who believes in real education reform should celebrate this confirmation.
