Border Security: Biden Released 10,186 in One Month. Now It Is Zero | Rosemary Jenks
Border security is the subject for the full hour, and two numbers frame it: in August 2024, under President Biden, the Border Patrol released 10,186 illegal aliens into the country in a single month. In August 2026 it released zero, the sixteenth straight month at zero. Jenny Beth Martin spends the hour with Rosemary Jenks, co-founder and policy director of the Immigration Accountability Project, who testified before the House Judiciary Committee in September on making the Trump border policies permanent. Jenks walks through what changed: 10,000 to 12,000 crossings a day under Biden against about 250 a day now, catch and release ended, asylum grants down from more than half of cases to about 7 percent, and all of it done under laws already on the books. That is the warning: what existing law did, the next administration can undo, and a Congress run by the left could defund ICE and the Border Patrol. Michigan's Democratic Senate nominee posted "Abolish ICE" the day before the show, and Jenks says a discharge petition on a Democrat amnesty bill is one signature away from forcing a House vote in the lame duck.
