Supreme Court Blocks a Mail Ballot Change & $39 Billion Pandemic Fraud | Teller, Robbins, McNeily
The Supreme Court blocked a mail ballot change forty nine days before an election, so the rules for this election are now set. Justice Brett Kavanaugh, appointed by President Trump, wrote that the rule may well be lawful and that the county clerk still cannot put it in place by November 3. A court can be out of time. A law never is. That is the argument for the SAVE America Act, and Jenny Beth Martin tells the story of where the bill came from: a coalition conference call with Senator Mike Lee, and the loophole Arizona was left with in 2013. Arizona created two ballots. Show proof of citizenship and you vote all the way down. Do not show it and you still vote for president, Senate and Congress. Seventy eight percent of voters say prove citizenship before you register, and the bill sits in the Senate anyway. Then the money. Vice President Vance announced in Kansas City that 870,000 borrowers are barred from future federal loans over an estimated 39 billion dollars in suspected pandemic fraud, roughly 300 dollars from every household and already spent.
