ATLANTA, Ga. – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (TPPCF) Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement, announcing that the Super PAC associated with the nation’s largest Tea Party group has endorsed Adam Laxalt for a seat in the United State Senate:

“Adam Laxalt has proven he is a strong conservative, committed to personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future.

“As Nevada’s Attorney General, he fought President Obama’s illegal executive orders on illegal immigration. Adam believes ‘there is nothing humane about an open borders policy that encourages caravans of desperate people to risk their lives only to encounter overwhelmed border facilities.’ He says that securing the southern border and restoring law and order is a top priority for him. He will work to finish the wall and wants to use other technological solutions to close the border, and he thinks the Remain in Mexico policy should be reinstated.

“Moreover, Adam fought the Nevada legislature’s last-minute changes to election law in 2020. As Nevada’s U.S. Senator, he will fight to enact true and proper reform, like requiring voter ID and opposing universal mail out voting, ballot harvesting, and ballot drop boxes. He will fight for election integrity, to ensure not only that every vote is counted, but that the only votes that are counted are legal.

“Adam was one of the first political leaders in Nevada to recognize the need to end the COVID lockdowns. As early as April of 2020 he called for Nevada to end its mask mandates and begin reopening businesses and schools.

“He opposes President Biden’s illegal student loan payoff scheme. He calls it ‘unconstitutional, immoral, and fundamentally bad policy,’ and says it ‘will line the pockets of the wealthiest Americans and fuel the flames of inflation, layering further pain on the back of Nevada families already struggling to get by.’ He knows the scheme ‘will further drive up Nevada’s already alarming 15.4 percent inflation rate.’

“He opposes the reckless spending that has driven inflation to 40-year highs. He wants to reduce taxes and cut regulations, to generate the kind of sustainable economic growth we’re going to need to pay off the massive debt the big spenders have incurred.

“Consequently, on behalf of Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, I am pleased to endorse Adam Laxalt for a seat in the United States Senate, and I urge all voters in Nevada to make a plan to be a voter for him in the November general election.”
