ATLANTA, Ga. – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (TPPCF) Chairman Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement today congratulating Brian Kemp on his victory in the Georgia Governor’s race. 

“On behalf of our millions of members and supporters, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund congratulates Brian Kemp on his victory in the Georgia Governor’s race. 

“Brian Kemp refused to allow one-size-fits-all lockdown edicts from Washington, D.C. bureaucrats to shape his state’s response to COVID-19. Keeping his focus where it belonged – on his constituents – he opened businesses and schools while most of his colleagues were locking down everything they could lock down, cowering in the face of ‘guidance’ from distant bureaucrats. He opposed vaccine and mask mandates when it mattered and set a standard for others to follow.

“We thank Georgia voters for making the right choice, and we look forward to working with Governor Kemp to promote and implement government policies that will enhance personal freedom and economic freedom, and lead to a debt-free future.”
