Tea Party Patriots Statement on Senator Sessions’ Confirmation Hearing

Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots President and co-founder Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement today reacting to Senator Jeff Sessions’ command performance in his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“Today, Senator Sessions showed exactly why President-elect Trump nominated him to be our next U.S. Attorney General: he is committed to upholding our Constitution and ensuring all of our laws are enforced. Sen. Sessions’ command of both the facts and our laws was so evident, many observers wrote the promised spectacle ‘fizzled.’ We are proud of Senator Sessions and urge the Senate swiftly vote to confirm him as our next U.S. Attorney General.”
