Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots President and co-founder Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement today, reacting to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

“Tea Party Patriots and our network of activists across the country have had the pleasure of working with Attorney General Jeff Sessions over the years on a number of issues and know him to be a man of the highest integrity. He has served his country in uniform, as U.S. Attorney, as Alabama Attorney General, in the United States Senate and now as head of the Department of Justice. Once again, we see no evidence of anything except the Washington Establishment’s obsession with trying to keep the people’s agenda from being implemented. Now that AG Sessions has given his sworn testimony in an open hearing at his request, it’s time for his critics and the Trump-hating press to stop smearing this honest and decent public servant and allow the focus in Washington, DC to return where it always should have been: on enacting the agenda the American people voted for when they elected Donald J. Trump President of the United States.”
