President Donald Trump made a surprise visit with schoolchildren during a White House tour Tuesday morning — this after First Lady Melania Trump announced last month the new administration reversed an Obama-era ban on school tours at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

“You never know what surprises may await you on a @WhiteHouse tour,” tweeted Special Assistant to the President Cliff Sims this morning.

The president greeted a group of about 50 students, reports Fox News, after the first lady in February said she is “excited to reopen the White House to the hundreds of thousands of visitors who come each year.”
