Sample Facebook Post:
Sen. Schumer and Sen. Rubio have worked together on an amnesty bill that would completely transform the fabric of American society. The bill would grant immediate amnesty to 11 million illegal immigrants, including those who have been convicted of serious crimes. The bill’s sponsors claim the bill is a “border security bill,” but nothing could be further from the truth. The bill is completely lacking commonsense border security metrics. The bill, if passed, would make America much less safe. Maybe that’s why the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Union strongly opposes the bill.
Without border security and other accountability metrics, there is no reason for the Senate to vote for this bill! Ask your Senator to vote against cloture on the amnesty bill. More than 70% of Americans want border security before we pass another amnesty bill. Isn’t it time for the Senate to start representing us, rather than special interest groups in DC?
