American Dream Challenge FAQ

When is the American Dream Challenge?

On Thursday, October 2, 2014, we are calling for volunteers to host local Tea Party meetings around the country. It has been a while since we have called for nationwide Tea Party meetings, but we feel the time is right. Our economy is still dragging, the American people have lost faith in the current administration, and it’s time to change the leadership in Washington, DC, to reflect our core principles of personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future.

What is the American Dream Challenge?

The American Dream Challenge is a call to action to all concerned citizens to take the power that the Constitution places in the people to bring prosperity back to our nation. The Challenge will consist of 30-days of activities to allow any concerned American to get involved and make a difference. We’ll distribute the Challenge prior to the event so that you have it in time for your meeting on October 2.

Who can host an American Dream Challenge event?

Anyone. Whether you are a Tea Party Leader, Local Coordinator, general Tea Party supporter, or just a concerned citizen, you can host an American Dream Challenge event.

Where can I host an American Dream Challenge event?

An American Dream Challenge event can be as small as a get-together at your house with a few friends and family or as big as a community-wide tea party meeting.

What materials does Tea Party Patriots have to help with the event?

For all who sign up to host an event, Tea Party Patriots will provide you with an American Dream Challenge packet. The packet will include the calendar of activities that build up the challenge, an agenda for the meeting, Tea Party Patriots informational flyers, and a sign-in sheet for your guests. We’ve also put together a toolkit that includes resources to help you promote your event, including a sample invitation, a sample press release if you plan to hold a public event, and some posts to help promote the events on social media.

What makes this a nationwide event?

On Thursday, October 2, 2014, we’ll be broadcasting via livestream to help explain the American Dream Challenge and help kick off your meetings around the country. We plan to do the first broadcast at 8pm ET and then rebroadcast every hour until the 9pm PT hour.
