Atlanta, GA – – Today, the U.S. House passed the Inflation Reduction Act.  President Biden will sign the bill into law. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement:

“After a year of negotiating among themselves, Democrats in Congress have passed a slimmed down version of ‘Build Back Better’ – even while knowing that further spending will continue to fuel the record-high inflation they created and increased taxes will further slow our economy.  Rarely do you see a bill that is so tone deaf and destructive.  This proves that Democrats care more about left-wing interest groups than American job creators and hardworking American taxpayers. The American people will not forget this left-wing assault on our fragile economy.”
