House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in yet another example of how out-of-touch she is with everyday Americans predicted Wednesday grandmothers – God, forbid! – will end up living with their children if Obamacare is stripped of its funding.

“If you’re a senior, you know Medicaid, almost half of Medicaid, is about long-term healthcare. You want grandma living in the guest room, you repeal the Affordable Care Act. If you go along with – this is part of an initiative that is part of the Ryan budget that says we’re going to voucherize…” she says.

And maybe Rep. Pelosi, known for once donning a $400-plus Hermes scarf during a presser, has a  bedroom to spare but how many everyday Americans do? If you’re anything like some on the Tea Party Patriots team, you shared a bedroom with one or two siblings growing up and, if “Junior” couldn’t get a job right out of college, he got the basement in a downsized house, not a “guest room.”

Not to mention the minority leader and her staff are exempt from experiencing the actual headache that is Obamacare with the rest of Congress and Congressional staff! Maybe because of this Ms. Pelosi and her staff don’t realize 31 percent of American families say the individual mandate has had negative effects on their household, according to a Gallup survey.

Business owners have had to close their doors and fire employees and vendors because of the burden the mandate places on Americans’ bottom line. Individuals have had to deal with skyrocketing and unaffordable premium increases while even more who have employer-sponsored health insurance have had to deal with relatively stable premium increases but much higher deductibles. And – oh, yeah – Obamacare has crazy-high deductibles, too. Guess who’s bearing the brunt of it? Women!

The so-called insurance-rider provisions in Obamacare that guarantee the insurance companies who say they can’t turn a profit under the system appear to be a bailout similar to that of President Bush’s bailout and President Obama’s so-called stimulus bill – both of which lined the pockets of the connected while leaving taxpayers to foot the bill.
