“Tea Party Patriots and our millions of supporters around the country are thrilled that President-elect Donald Trump has selected Senator Jeff Sessions to be the next U.S. Attorney General. Senator Sessions is a man of the highest integrity who has been a strong ally of Tea Party Patriots and the Tea Party movement. He has spoken at several Tea Party Patriots events over the years and Americans should know he is absolutely committed to securing our borders, protecting the Constitution and upholding the rule of law. For eight years under President Obama, the Justice Department prioritized politics over the rule of law. Under Senator Sessions, we know the rule of law will finally be paramount again with our nation’s highest ranking law enforcement officer. We look forward to supporting Senator Sessions during his confirmation process and working with him once he takes the oath of office as our next Attorney General.”
