Atlanta, GA – Today, the Senate will begin advancing its revised budget resolution. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“We urge the Senate to pass a budget resolution as close to the House budget resolution as possible, one that cuts taxes and reduces spending. For too long, Congress has pushed the problem of overspending down the road. We have a once in a lifetime opportunity with President Trump in the White House and DOGE identifying areas where spending can actually be reduced. The House has done its job. Now it’s time for the Senate to be a part of history. By reducing spending and cutting taxes, Congress will set our country on the path to 250 more years of greatness by reducing inflation and incentivizing the American people to innovate and grow.”
