Atlanta, GA – The full Senate is expected to vote on Russ Vought’s nomination for OMB Director this week. Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“It’s time to drain the swamp. We at Tea Party Patriots Action urge every senator to support Russ Vought’s nomination for OMB Director. Vought is a principled conservative who has the smarts and fearlessness to shrink and reform the federal government. He has extensive experience in Congress and the first Trump Administration, including serving as OMB Director in 2020. He is the right man at the right time.

“Spending and borrowing are out of control in Washington, and our activists are demanding significant changes to get our fiscal house in order. Russ Vought recognizes these challenges and will do everything it takes to Save America, in conjunction with the President, other Administration leaders, and the Congress.

“Russ Vought will be an outstanding OMB Director, and he deserves confirmation with bipartisan support.”
