Atlanta, GA – On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi. Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“We at Tea Party Patriots Action urge every senator to support Pam Bondi for Attorney General. Bondi’s career experience spans the entire range of public service as an attorney, including service as Florida’s most senior law enforcement officer. As the Attorney General for America’s third-largest state, Bondi demonstrated a commitment to equal application of the law – exactly what is sorely needed now at the top of the Justice Department, which, under Merrick Garland, has been plagued by partisanship and been deployed as an institutional weapon against political opponents.

“Tea Party Patriots Action worked closely with Bondi during President Trump’s first impeachment trial, when she consistently joined our weekly calls to activists mobilizing opposition to impeachment. Those who watched Bondi’s Senate confirmation hearing learned what Tea Party Patriots Action’s activists already knew: Pam Bondi is smart, honest, and fearless. She will be an excellent Attorney General.”
