Atlanta, GA – Today, Vice President Kamala Harris announced her selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her vice-presidential running mate. In response, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund President Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“The Harris-Walz ticket is undeniably the most leftwing major party ticket in American presidential history, and it demonstrates something hugely important — even at the moment when she appears to be at her greatest strength, she could not stand up to her party’s most radical Socialists. Tim Walz’s selection as the Democrats’ VP nominee does nothing to change the fundamentals of the race, which strongly favor former President Trump. The American people are fed up with high inflation, the open border, corruption, weaponization of government against regime opponents, culture wars caused by liberal intolerance, and a destabilized world exacerbated by Joe Biden’s weak foreign policy. Harris was and remains Biden’s right-hand partner on all his failed policies. Now Tim Walz wants to be Harris’ right-hand partner. He won’t get the chance for more than the next 90 days. Trump will continue driving his message of peace and prosperity past the legacy media’s propaganda machine for the Democrats. The reality of life today versus when Trump was in office is too stark and undeniable.”
