Bend Tea Party

Our group started to form immediately after last Mar. 13th's "We Surround Them" event which I hosted in Bend. Our group is made up of non-affiliated people, Proj. 912 members, Americans for Prosperity members (from three counties in C.O.), and Patriotic Resistance.
We are unified by our love of country and the liberties we enjoy as Americans. We are committed to keep government in check, and will advance freedom's bell and continue to expose government for what it is---out of control. We're sick of the spending, growing debt, and excessive and unfair taxation.
Our group has hosted rallies, attended protests and counter-protests, participated in town halls,have coordinated with other groups on petition drives and now, with working on a campaign regarding an upcoming special election.
Our focus is to grow the conservative tea party movement in Central Oregon, educate the public on the lack of transparency and accountability of this administration and government, and to network effectively with other tea party organizations and other like-minded groups.
